I’m John — a portrait, street, and event photographer originally from the sun-drenched chaos of Los Angeles, now calling Austin, Texas my home.

Photography found me about six years ago, almost by accident. What started as a way to slow down in the fast pace of L.A. quickly turned into a calling. I was chasing light through alleyways, watching strangers become characters in fleeting frames, and discovering that a camera could reveal layers of truth most people overlook.
